Job Ref. :eng15273 Industrial Gas Burner System - Commissioning Engineer   Job Location: Alton, Hampshire   Qualifications: Relevant experience   Terms: Contract or permanent   Salary: Competitive dep upon experience Job Details Aerogen require a field service / commissioning engineer to join their team caring for both new and existing installations. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 years experience as a field commissioning engineer. HNC or related qualification in engineering, especially mechanical would be preferable but is not an absolute requirement, suitable knowledge of PLC’s, Siemens S7 required. Knowledge of combustion systems is essential and some basic knowledge of electrical controls would be beneficial. In any case due to the unique nature of the equipment Aerogen produce, Aerogen will assist in the training of the special combustion engineering and flame treatment knowledge required for the position. Good people skills are essential, interacting with customers for training and other site duties such as development work are common. The individual will be self motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a group. This exciting role within a small business offers a great variety of work in a number of different fields, Aerogen serves customers on a global scale so the role will require travel to these sites. Due to the travel requirements overseas and in the UK the candidate should be residing within the southern counties and ideally be accessible to Aerogen within 1 hour. Between site visits the Engineer will be expected to conduct duties in Alton and assist with test, development and technical related business. A full driving license is also an absolute requirement We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
