ROLE - Senior Mechanical Engineer (base station antennas) - reporting to Engineering Manager
Involved in all aspects of development cycle for Base Station Antenna product - concept to production.
Also be involved in sales and product line support to some extent.
Performs research, design and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic thermodynamic; or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement and use of energy.
Applies research to planning, design and development of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems, instruments and/or controls.
Conducts feasibility studies and tests new modified designs.
May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.
Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Devises new approaches to problems.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.
