| COMPANY: Our client is a sub-contract sheet metal fabricator, manufacturing a wide range of high quality components and finished products. Further growth and a commitment to profitable expansion create this opportunity.
JOB DESCRIPTION: This key position, reporting to the Production Director will be responsible for all of the Quality Systems of the company.
Working in a demanding, sub contract manufacturing environment this diverse role will co-ordinate all company activities to maintain BS.EN.ISO 9002 registration, involving the investigation and reporting of specific internal and external quality issues, the co-ordination of the Inspection department, customer liaison in connection with Quality issues and maintaining an accurate Reject and Reworking costing system.
You will also be involved with I.I.P and training programmes as well as house keeping the Health & Safety Manual.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:A hands on Quality Engineer/Manager, you will be skilled in the simplification and development of effective Quality procedures and systems. You will be customer focused, with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of ISO9002.
