| Title: ENGINEERING/MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT(OPERATIONS MANAGER DESIGNATE)
The Role:
As a key member of a small management team, and reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee all aspects of Plant Maintenance and the performance of our engineering employees and contractors.
You will be responsible for maximising plant availability whilst maintaining safe systems of work.
Your objectives will include developing and implementing the engineering strategy, managing and leading design programmes, developing and improving the team structure, and ensuring compliance with all applicable customer, safety and quality specifications.
The Candidate
1.Educated to degree level or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
2.Possessing a minimum of 10 years relevant experience as a practising engineer, and at least 5 years in a senior position, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
3.Previous experience of managing change and building a flexible team would be an advantage.
4.Highly motivated, possessing strong leadership qualities and having excellent influencing skills.
The Future
It is expected that within 2 years, the successful candidate will develop their industry knowledge and expertise sufficiently to be able to include the management of all site operations within their portfolio.
