Job Details
Responsible to the production manager and directly responsible for production engineering and software applications of the company.
The position is primarily a Production Engineer to process parts from 3 dimensionl models,either as raw CAD data or IGES translations,working closely with existing production engineering staff and formen.
Develop new working practices to enhance data flow from production engineering to shop floor,including CAD & CAM data.
Responsibilities include the up-keep of all post processors to enable seamless transition of data to and from the shopfloor.
Develop data bases of tooling and fixtures to aid production process.
Liase with existing production staff to ensue parts are manufactured to delivery schedules requested by customers and agreed by the production manager.
Responsible for computer networks and their back-up systems to ensure efficient running of the company.
To review exsiting software packages and evaluate thier relevance to current and future growth of the company.
